What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you provide. We collect information you provide when you register, sign in, use account features, contact support, or use paid features. This can include your name and email address, and a phone number if you choose or are asked to provide it for an account, support, or purchase feature. If you sign in with Google, Google may provide the account name, email address, and profile photo associated with the Google account you choose. You may also add or change your profile photo.

Learning and account information. To provide the Services, we process your account ID, course access or enrollments, quiz and paper attempts, answers, scores, XP, levels, badges, submissions, and related progress. If you send a support request or account deletion request, we process the account details and the message, reason, or additional information you submit.

Information we do not request from your device. We do not access your phone contacts or address book and do not collect mailing addresses through the app. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or health information.

Information automatically collected. Our systems may collect service, diagnostic, and security information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language, referring URL, date and time of access, pages or features used, and error or activity logs. We use Google Analytics to understand website and app usage. Depending on the Analytics configuration, Google Analytics may collect usage events, session statistics, browser or device information, approximate location, and identifiers such as website cookies or an app-instance identifier. Google explains its default Analytics data collection in its Analytics Help documentation.

Payment information. Website checkout is provided through Razorpay. Razorpay processes payment instrument details. QUIZ LAB receives transaction and order information needed to confirm payment, provide access to the purchased item, prevent fraud, and provide support, such as order or payment IDs, product, amount, currency, and payment status. We do not store card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking passwords on our servers. Payments are currently available on the website only. We plan to offer Razorpay payments in the app in the future; if that feature is introduced, we will update this Notice as needed before or when it becomes available.

Google API data. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How Do We Process Your Information?

We process information only as needed to provide and operate the Services, communicate with you, protect accounts, and meet legal obligations. This includes using it to:

• Create and authenticate accounts, maintain sign-in sessions, and manage account settings.
• Provide course, quiz, paper, video, discussion, and other requested learning features.
• Record attempts and calculate scores, progress, XP, levels, badges, and rankings.
• Process website purchases through Razorpay, confirm order status, and grant purchased access.
• Respond to support questions, account deletion requests, and other communications.
• Maintain service security, troubleshoot errors, prevent fraud or abuse, understand usage trends through Google Analytics, and improve the Services.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Services and need access to perform their work. These include:

• Google Sign-In and Google APIs for account authentication and associated profile information.
• Google Analytics for website and app usage measurement and reporting.
• Razorpay for website payment processing and related transaction confirmation.
• Our application hosting and infrastructure providers to store and deliver account, learning, and service data. We do not use Supabase or PostHog.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect users and the Services, or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of our organization or assets. Information you post in public or shared areas—such as discussions, questions, or replies—may be visible to other users. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes in this Notice, while your account is active, and as required or permitted by law. If you request account deletion, we remove or de-identify information from active systems when the request is processed, except for information we must keep for legal, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten or can be safely deleted.

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections when data is transmitted between your device and our Services. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use the Services in a secure environment and keep your account credentials private.

What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to or correction of your personal information, request deletion, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise a concern about how your information is handled. You can update account information in your account settings or contact us at admin@genziitian.org or genziitian@gmail.com.

If we send marketing communications, you can opt out using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us. We may still send service-related messages needed to operate your account or respond to a request.

Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Some browsers and devices offer Do-Not-Track settings. There is not a uniform standard for how services should respond to these signals, so our Services do not currently respond to browser Do-Not-Track signals. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and review Google Analytics privacy controls in Google's documentation.

Service Description

QUIZ LAB by GenZ IITian is an online educational service for exam preparation and learning. Services may include courses, papers, quizzes, practice tools, video solutions, discussions, progress features, and other learning resources. Feature availability may vary by account, course, device, or subscription. QUIZ LAB is part of GenZ IITian, and applicable GenZ IITian service rules and content-use rules apply.

User Account & Security

Some Services require an account. You may sign in through Google or another sign-in method offered by QUIZ LAB. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for activity under your account. Contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may restrict or close accounts that violate our security requirements or applicable terms.

Course & Material Access & Usage

Access to paid materials is associated with the account used for the purchase and is for personal learning use, unless the applicable course terms say otherwise. Course access and materials are non-transferable. Sharing account credentials or distributing course content to third parties is prohibited.

Prohibited Use & Copyright

Content on the Services, including videos, documents, questions, and code samples, is owned by or licensed to GenZ IITian and QUIZ LAB. You may not copy, pirate, redistribute, or commercially use content without permission. We may suspend access for violations, subject to applicable law and our terms.

Limitation of Liability

QUIZ LAB is an educational service. We work to keep the Services useful and available, but do not guarantee specific academic results or career outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for issues caused by a user's internet connection, device, or misuse of the Services. Nothing in this Notice limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Return & Refund Policy

QUIZ LAB provides digital educational services and no physical product, shipment, or delivery. Purchases are generally final after access is granted, except for a verified duplicate payment or where applicable law requires otherwise. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?

Yes. We may update this Notice when our practices or legal requirements change. The revised date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make a material change, we may post a notice in the Services or send a notification. We encourage you to review this Notice periodically.

How Can You Review, Update, or Delete Your Data?

You can review or update account details through the account settings available to you. To request account and data deletion, use More > Delete Account & Data in the mobile app or visit the Account Deletion page. Choose a reason and submit the request for manager review. Your account remains active until the request is processed. If you cannot access your account, email admin@genziitian.org or genziitian@gmail.com from your registered email address.
